Hello OMW Supporters,
As we move into 2023 after successfully winning our home Tournament in December, the Orlando Magic Wheels are preparing to travel to Birmingham, AL. The Lakeshore Invitational Tournament this weekend has the Magic Wheels playing against 3 other teams in our Pool. The Jacksonville Brooks Ballers, the Arkansas Rollin Razorbacks, and the Lakeshore Storm. After those games we will face select teams from the other Pool which include the Shepherd Stealers, Charlotte Rollin’ Hornets, Tampa Bay Strong Dogs and the Magee Sixers. It should be a very competitive weekend of wheelchair basketball.
As I previously mentioned, the team is scheduled for an Exhibition game on February 4th at Forest Lake Academy in Apopka (see the attached Flyer). We will be supporting a community initiative to fundraise for wheelchairs. The Chair the Love organization is raising funds to provide 280 wheelchairs for underprivileged persons. You are all cordially invited to attend!
